Founded 30+ years ago, they have consistently grown to a network of 11 US based offices with a branch in Hong Kong.
They are actively hiring a Station Manager with a primary focus on air export operations.
As Station Manager you are required to have comprehensive Air Forwarding experience including:
- Drafting documents
- Working with Agents
- Quoting door-to-door.
As Station Manager you will be in an oversight role, managing 1 other employee with the potential to add another.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee daily operations of the station, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage station staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor station performance metrics and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Develop and manage station budgets, including forecasting and cost control.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all employees and customers.
- Quote and operate shipments A to Z
As Station Manager it is considered very beneficial if you have CargoWise experience, and ocean freight experience is also a plus.
